Anabosis: A Lonely World

Anabosis is a science fiction novel set in the distant future of the Verdian Tales Universe. It focusses on the adventures and experiences of ethicist Emma Grant as she explores the hermit world of Anabosis; a planet where an expansive tech conglomerate conducts top secret research and development free from the burden of law and external oversight. Though not a scientist herself, what Emma discovers along the way could upend the status quo and pull this lonely world out of its isolation.

As a note for the reader if you get a little confused regarding the future Anabosis is set in- next week (on 4-27) I will be publishing a post to this blog that will cover how different time frames work in the Verdian Tales Universe. While most of the materials I will publish will focus on the fantasy medieval setting already introduced on this website, some may focus on Verd’s future (like Anabosis) or past. Essentially, I want to maintain the creative liberty to create stories, guides, and adventures without being limited to a single point in Verd’s history, and I think that this will give Verd a more real-world feel. Anabosis is the first foray into this broader history.
