A Land for the Forsaken
You are entering into a realm that will offer little welcome. Verd is a world where mankind stands on the brink of annihilation. The great empires which once ruled over this land have fallen to an unending tide of daemons (known as Argerkin) which flood forth unto Verd from the never-ending, eldritch Cryptstorm. For over three centuries humanity has fought the daemon, losing ever more ground to the inexorable foe, yet never giving up hope. Hardened and forlorn, the few remaining kingdoms of men fight a daily war for survival, with strife and conflict being steadfast companions in this dark age. It is from this grave period that the tales and stories presented here have been collected.
